I'm a mom to a toddler. My fiance (child's father) was laid off from his job over 6 months ago and hasn't found work. We were living paycheck to paycheck to begin with and had money saved for an emergency but it is all gone due to paying bills. I work full-time and often do freelance work on my days off, and I still can't afford to support my family on just my income. I have a lot of credit card debt so I am not able to get more credit, our rent is high and I wish I could move somewhere cheaper where water/trash utilities were included to save money but I don't even have money for deposits to move anywhere. My family has helped me out a little bit but I cannot ask them for anything else. His family is not in any position to help us My child currently does not have health insurance. I need new glasses and cannot afford them. I cannot afford my rent this month nor can I afford the minimum payment on several credit cards. I have never been in a situation like this and I don't know what to do. I feel totally helpless. To make matters worse our cat got sick and had a costly vet bill, then 2 weeks ago our car's timing belt broke and we have no money to get it fixed. i have tried many other ways to come up with bill money (selling things on ebay, looking for paid focus groups, trying to find various gigs on craigslist, etc) and I am out of ideas.
